I sometimes feel insecure when I'm around my best friend.
Why? It’s simple. He’s really good looking, and all the girls seem to like him. When I’m around him, it makes me feel inferior. I’m not as good looking. And Damn, I’m a redhead. Not many people like red heads. It’s just embarrassing when me and him are out together and he starts to hit on some girls, and they totally ignore me, and focus on him.
Believe me. If I could change everything about me. I’d do it. I wouldn’t give it a second thought.
I can’t tell you how many times, I’ve liked someone, and they end up going for my best friend. People always use me to get them hooked them up with Him. It gets irritating.
I just wish I was different.
I love redheads! Just to make you feel better. Don’t wish to be different, it’s a waste of what a good person you are.
I guess you’re right. It’s just I wish I could be looked at as “He’s Cute.” or get some kinda complement on my looks. It’s just, You see looks before you get to see someone’s personality, and for some people, if the looks aren’t good, then they don’t give them the chance to show their real self.
